Saharasri Subrata Roy Sahara honoured with Indian Business Icon of the Year Award

In a glittering ceremony at the Powerbrands Hall of Fame Awards function in London, Saharasri Subrata Roy Sahara, Managing worker and Chairman of Sahara India Pariwar has been honoured with Indian Business Icon of the Year Award for his entrepreneurship and achievements in various fields. This award was jointly presented to him by Priti Patel, Member of Parliament of the United Kingdom, Ruby Dhalla, Member of Parliament of Canada and Professor Arindam Chaudhuri at the Powerbrands Hall. The ceremony witnessed Lords and Member of Parliaments from the United Kingdom, business tycoons and icons from all walks of life including films stars from India and UK.
Subrata Roy Sahara said,” I am extremely delighted to receive the Indian Business Icon of the Year Award. It encourages me to perform even better in future. It’s been a very long journey from the time I started Sahara India Pariwar. I am happy that my efforts are beings appreciated.”
The event was started with a special message from David Cameron, the British Prime Minister which was ready by Caroline Nokes, Member of Parliament with Keynoted addresses from Priti Patel, British Indian Member of Parliament.
