Sahara India Pariwar to Promote Archery in India

Sahara India has been promoting many sports in India from quite long time. They are involved in promotion of sports in India not because of corporate image building, but because of emotional commitment towards the betterment of sports in India. Sahara India promised to sponsor men’s as well as women’s National Archery Teams for the next three years. They also promised to pay incentives to the top 10 Archers of India. The incentive was decided on the basis of their annual performance in the archery sport. With the help of Archery Association of India, Sahara India will select the most consistent Archers annually. By doing this Sahara India wants to enhance the popularity and awareness of Archery in India so that more youngsters could come up to adopt this Archery as a profession.

Sahara India hopes that this support to Archery sport in India would surely provide better results in future. Moreover Sahara India promised to be the title sponsor of the Senior National Archery Championship for the next three years. The reason behind this support is the huge potential of Archers in India. Sahara India wants to push Archery team of India onto the international centre stage to increase India’s medal in the forthcoming Olympics. The support giver to Indian Archers will be able to relieve their financial problems and as result they will be able to concentrate on their game more and will be able to perform better in future games. Also they will be able to bring greater glory to the nation. This will also improve the potential of the India Archery team and upcoming Archers. According to Subrata Roy Sahara, Chairman of Sahara India Pariwar, Promoting Archery in India is a great initiative by Sahara with the hope that Indian Archers will bring this sport at International arenas and bring glory to India.
